Video Premiere | Spoken Nerd “Work Work Work”

No, this isn’t a revisit to a 2016 pop explosion, it’s actually a look into the future with the crackling rumble of heavy beats and thoughtful lyricism. Nathan Conrad is known around circles as Spoken Nerd, that clever wordsmith whose imaginative prose has seen exponential growth. 2021 witnessed the release of Spoken Nerd’s last full-length release, Grapes, a heady affair produced by Juan Cosby. Since then, the Nashville artist has released a handful of singles and set his sights on a new collection of works. Spoken Nerd has just released the new video for his single “Work Work Work,” a boom-bap anthem that’s sure to become your next new favorite track. When Spoken Nerd raps, “I don’t want to be enlightened unless everyone’s invited” we get a bit of insight into the emcee who is all about inclusivity.

The video was shot and directed by Mecoclub and showcases the work and spiritual journey that is involved in making a great song and Hip-Hop album. “Work Work Work” is the first single from Spoken Nerd’s forthcoming full-length album, Magical Powers, produced entirely by Nathan Zensen (kidDEAD, Kaby), set to be released this fall.
