Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers) Shares “Too Many People”

Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers) shares “Too Many People” the second single taken off the forthcoming reissue of his debut LP, The History of Dogs (originally shared in 1992), due June 17 via Shimmy-Disc/Joyful Noise. The single comes alongside a music video created by Paul himself.

Speaking on the single, Paul wrote:

“It blows my mind how many people live on this planet.  Billions of us.  All being born, all dying.  And all defecating and urinating in between.  I love to stand in places where I can look out over the landscape and see no evidence at all of human beings.  We are a deeply flawed species.”

Paul Leary’s latest solo LP, Born Stupid, came out last year via Shimmy-Disc/Joyful Noise. Both records — Born Stupid and the newly reissued The History of Dogs — are available to pre-order as a 2xLP bundle.
