Video Premiere: Paper Foxes, "Devil On My Shoulder"

For those of you are obsessed with bands such as Interpol, Joy Division, and Bloc Party, may we suggest that you sink your musical taste buds in Arizona’s own Paper Foxes.  Incorporating their own take on “death disco”, Paper Foxes stretch the limits of creativity within their songs.  Danceable guitar lines moving along with the bass lines that are heavily influenced of 70s disco, founding members of Paper Foxes CJ Jacobson (vocals/guitar) and Patro Gaston (synth/vocals) added brothers Uche Ujania (bass/vocals) and Jahlani Ujania (drums) and guitarist Oliver Lemke to help flesh out their creative vision.  Already have released two EPs, Paper Foxes are currently preparing their first LP Pop Confessions due in 2019 with the help of legendary producer Bob Hoag.

Today, Ghettoblaster is happy to premiere the video for the single “Devil on My Shoulder”.  The single is about the attraction of places you shouldn’t go and people you shouldn’t be around. It’s about the highs and lows of the thirst for the thrill, dancing in the underbelly of a dark city.  As for the video, the band captures the backdrop of a world that’s virtual reality and morphs into a dazzling scene of trippy illumination.
