White Hills release video for "Spirit of Exile"

White Hills are masters of the slow burn, crafting subtle psychedelic music that is varied and timeless. Their range, from pulsating kraut to full-on guitar assault, is displayed on Glitter Glamour Atrocity, which was originally released in a highly limited CD form in 2007, but is being widely released today via Thrill Jockey.
“Spirit of Exile” fits more into the former category, with hypnotic drum patter and shimmering guitars coming to the fore. Earlier today The AV Club premiered a video for the song directed by White Hills’ Dave W., which features footage shot by the band while they were filming their scene in Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive in Germany, as well as the band’s appearances at the film’s premieres in London, Paris, and New York. Check it out for yourself below.
