Exalt sign to Good Fight Music, tour (2015)

Good Fight Music recently welcomed Exalt to its family.
From Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Exalt has amassed power exponentially since its 2010 formation. The four-piece band is currently regarded as one of the most deadly live acts on the metallic hardcore circuit and Canada’s #1 music monthly Exclaim! Magazine recently proclaimed, “the shine coming off of one of hardcore’s most promising bands is so bright that it’s nearly blinding.”
Sophomore album Pale Light was released in 2014 in Canada on New Damage Records (home also to KEN mode, Cancer Bats, and White Widows Pact) and made a big statement, drenching its furious hardcore in what Substream Magazine termed “doom-filled ambiance… ominous… haunting… a foreboding soundtrack.”
Equal parts aggression and dread, Exalt furthers the line drawn by Converge and Trap Them and fits neatly alongside other recent Good Fight signings like Old Wounds, Axis and Hollow Earth (all of whom Exalt has toured with). Influences like Godflesh and Chelsea Wolfe creep in the shadows, informing the heavy atmosphere underlying the storm.
To kick things off, Good Fight and New Damage Records will partner up to give Pale Light its first official U.S. release in late 2015. For now, witness the official premiere of the video for “Deafen,” a song off Pale Light, exclusively at Metal Injection, here.
Exalt hits the road in September with Reflections.
