Superchunk is set to release their new album Wild Loneliness worldwide on February 25, but today, we are treated to a new preview from the hotly anticipated record. “On the Floor,” one of bassist Laura Ballance’s favorites from the album, features backup vocals from R.E.M.’s Mike Mills and piano from Franklin Bruno.

Superchunk’s 2022 tour begins February 25 in Winston-Salem, NC. Ballance plays bass on Wild Loneliness, and the live Superchunk lineup will continue as McCaughan, Jim Wilbur, and Jon Wurster, with Jason Narducy on bass. Get your tickets today!
