UK’s Prolapse returns with I Wonder When They’re Going to Destroy Your Face? (Tapete), the band’s first album in 26 years, which is set to be released on August 29, 2025. With the album’s announcement, the group has released the single, “Cha Cha Cha 2000.”

The new single sees Prolapse depart from the motorik beat. The song is a demented cha cha cha that might be danced in a dilapidated ballroom. Singers Mick and Linda weave their words and melodies in and out: a tortuous tale of 60s folk singers, tiny hearts and celebrity. Meanwhile, the drums swing and pummel and guitars jar and stab. The same over and over again but changing just a bit all the time.
