Enter Homeboy Sandman. The emcee returns with the single “Lookout,” featuring the likeminded Quelle Chris and Your Old Drogg. Sandman has shared the conceptualized piece in anticipation of his new full-length release Dusty (Mello Music Group), dropping this month on October 18, 2019.

Here on the track, the emcees wrap their metaphors and similes around an unlikely rhythm with just a few notes that bounce continuously, but seemingly intermittent. It’s odd, but it works to their benefit.
