Never at a loss for words, Angel Del Villar II, known in musical circles as Homeboy Sandman, remains a fascinating lyrical anomaly. Recently signing to a new label, the prolific rapper is set to drop his 9th solo album Dusty (Mello Music Group) on October 18th, 2019. The new record features Quelle Chris and Your Old Droog and is produced by Mono En Stereo whose production credits range from Mos Def to Action Bronson. Mono also worked on the EP, Kool Herc: Fertile Crescent.
Today Homeboy Sandman shares the first single off the album, “Far Out,” a hazed and lyrically challenging track.
