Florida-based Persian-American CimplyDan has begun the year-long journey to demonstrate his versatility and lyrical prowess through his art.  In order to achieve this ambitious goal, the singer-songwriter will be drawing inspiration from his cultural heritage along with various genres: Country, Electronic, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, and R&B. 

CimplyDan’s single “”South Side Livin’” is centered around residing in Florida and all of the complexities of it.  The lyrics also delve into the disheartening woes and tiring struggles CimplyDan has come across in his dating life.  The quantity of toxic women that have left him in a terrible yet wonderful feeling at the end.  There is discussion of where his life was then and now which is ultimately freeing. 

“South Side Livin'” was produced by Anomalia. CimplyDan makes use of the poppy, hip-hop beat to craft a smooth, summery track.  CimplyDan’s unique tone and vibey flow make for a song that listeners cannot help, but put on repeat.
