Last week, Ron Gallo shared part one of what is a two-part companion piece “Always Elsewhere”. The second part has been released today, “Do You Love Your Company?” Both songs are off of Gallo’s forthcoming, Stardust Birthday Party. In “Always Elsewhere” Gallo walks through various scenes carrying a box labeled “SELF,” and at the end, he opens the box to see what’s inside, which is where the “Company” video begins.
“‘Do You Love Your Company’ is a song about self-inquiry,” says Gallo. “I think a lot of people struggle with being truly alone or fear silence because it forces them to look inward, but ultimately I think it’s one of the most important things we can do to understand ourselves and others.”
To see the pieces back-to-back, watch both videos below.
Ron Gallo will be out on tour in support of Stardust Birthday Party throughout the rest of the year. A festival mainstay – having performed at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Hang Out, Firefly and sharing stages with White Reaper, Twin Peaks, Ty Segall, The Black Angels and more. He’ll play dates throughout the US and Europe this Summer and will head out on a full North American tour this fall. Highlights include Gallo’s Hometown of Philly at the First Unitarian Church on November 10th, Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on November 12th and the final date at The Basement East in Nashville, TN on November 17th. Tickets for the November tour are on-sale now.
