Video Premiere | B. Bravo “Fly Bye (Feat. Reva DeVito)”

There are moments music allows visions and the smallest aspects of sound to manifest themselves into something larger than life itself. In the coming months, this could possibly be one of those manifestations made reality. For the past 13 years, Californian-born beatmaker/musician/one-man band/producer B. Bravo – known to friends & family as Adam Mori – has tripped the globe countless times, building a fanbase through his solo releases filled with funk-tinged neo-soul, crashing through R&B ceilings, heavy-handed but with light touch.

Just last month Bravo released his third full-length release, Vizionz (Bastard Jazz Recordings), which transcends expectations of any kind. Throughout the album, Bravo finds solace amongst the shining stars of his album. Shades of Hip-Hop find their way here on the groovy “Back Times Two (feat. Def Sound)” as well as the stutter-step of “Ms. Stardust (feat. Nico Fasho).” But Bravo shines brilliantly with soulful hits, much like on “No Regrets (feat. Rojai). The album is tightly wound and loosely fitting, melding club anthems with lounge felt grooves blending it perfectly together.

B. Bravo returns with a new single alongside his longtime collaborator, soulful chanteuse Reva DeVito for “Fly Bye,” which is inspired by the dreamy notion of hopping on a private plane with Pilot Reva and flying away from everything. The live performance video surrounds Reva’s vocals with ambient pads, a Dilla -inspired beat, and a deep & irresistibly groovy bass line. The single slaps hard and transports listeners into a blissed-out headphone jam.
