“He swings swords with the best of them…”

After releasing a new single and video for “Day In The Life” last week, Wu-Tang Clan legend / Czarface co-founder Inspectah Deck returns with another new single and video, “Shaolin Rebel 2.” The track is off his forthcoming solo album, Dragons Breath, which is set to drop next week, on August 7, 2026.

Dragon’s Breath finds Deck exhibiting the razor-sharp lyricism that has made him a cornerstone of Wu-Tang’s 36 Chambers mythology. The project will feature collaborations with Raekwon, Cappadonna, Czarface, Ransom, Skyzoo, Che Noir, and KXNG Crooked, among others.

The project’s title nods to the throughline of Deck’s career — from the Clan’s Shaolin foundations to the comic-book-noir world of Czarface and back again — positioning Dragon’s Breath as both a solo statement and a full-circle moment for one of hip-hop’s most technically gifted and under-appreciated emcees.

Mere weeks after Deck releases his solo album, he will return with a new Czarface project on August 28, 2026: Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer, which is the latest entry in the long-running “Czarface Meets…” collaboration series. This installment welcomes Frankie Pulitzer into the Czarface fold.
