Fantastic Cat Shares Video For “The Gig”

Fantastic Cat gets a rude awakening when the hot new concert cruise they’ve booked turns out to be rush hour on the Staten Island Ferry in the absurd new video for “The Gig,” which is out now. The single will also be featured on the band’s upcoming album The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat. To pre-order, click here: https://bit.ly/fantasticcatpreorder

“‘The Gig’ is a sardonic take on following your dream into darkness and watching it turn into a nightmare,” says Brian Dunne, who sings lead on the track. “It’s completely autobiographical – I could name you the specific venues that are referenced in the song (but I won’t because of legal issues). But more than anything, it’s about not knowing where your life is going and what happens when the show runs off without you.”

“The Gig” follows lead single “C’mon Armageddon,” which featured a surreal music video starring actor Marc Geller, who you may recognize as the omnipresent Kier Eagan from the hit Apple TV+ show Severance.
