On this episode of Best Song Ever the dear, dear cousins are visited by Loki the Trickster God as they do their first Thor Talk in a long time, where they mourn Stan Lee, Luke gives a Marvel Life Hack, and they talk about our favorite Kurt Russel movies. Luke decides to bloviate about My Chemical Romance, which leads the cousins into workshopping their sitcom idea Gerard and Gerard in the Yard. Crocodile Connery makes a surprise return and Brian talks about how he staged a coup and murdered a lot of people. The dear cousins get into how rappers use the names of their favorite Harry Potter characters, have fun with words doing some rapscallion word trickery and talk about creativity, reincarnation and make plans to eat at Red Lobster all while playing the six best songs you’ll hear all week!
Every week Ghettoblaster feature writers (and dear cousins!) Brian LaBenne and Luke LaBenne bring you fresh new songs with the hopes of introducing you to some that you may consider to be the best song ever. Both Brian and Luke have no idea what songs the other has picked, so what you are hearing is their genuine reaction to listening to the songs together.
