Brooklyn’s finest, White Widows Pact churns out white-knuckle metallic hardcore infused with ’90s death metal and Southern grooves. True urban despair bleeds out of frontman David Castillo as the band steamrolls through mid-tempo onslaughts, a combination of urgent, machine-like cadences (mid-era Napalm Death comes to mind) and Crowbar-quality sludge. Guest appearances include Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats, Sara Taylor of Youth Code, and more.
The album was recorded and mixed by Dean Baltulonis (Sick of It All, Modern Life Is War) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, High on Fire).
A real powerhouse of the NYC scene, White Widows Pact consists of members of Primitive Weapons, Grudges, Cleanteeth, Goes Cube, and more. Frontman Castillo is co-owner of Saint Vitus Bar, one of the city’s most beloved venues.
