Life In Vacuum share video for "Quitting," tour (2018)

Toronto noise punks Life In Vacuum recently released their pummeling new full length, All You Can Quit, via New Damage Records. This week the band premiered their new music video for “Quitting.”

All You Can Quit finds Life In Vacuum refining their mix of abrasive guitars, reverb-drenched atmosphere, and surprisingly hooky vocals, while also exploring a new spectrum of dynamics. It’s an album about trying to leave behind the baggage of the past in order to look forward to a brighter future–a sentiment that inadvertently calls back to a time before Life In Vacuum existed.
The band is led by brothers Ross and Sasha Chornyy, who immigrated to Canada from the Ukraine in 2004. Their parents were seeking a better life for their children, even if it meant leaving behind family and friends to start a whole new life. While the choice could not have been an easy one, it certainly paid off, albeit in an unexpected form. The two brothers have now had the opportunity to travel the world playing music, or as Sasha cheekily puts it: “they hoped we would become doctors and lawyers, yet here we are in a band, driving around the country selling t-shirts for two dollars more then we made them for!”
Life In Vacuum continues to relentlessly in support of All You Can Quit. Having just capped off a run of shows in Mexico and Europe, the band is currently on tour in North America. See full itinerary below.
