Melotov Records announces the July 22 release of Vices’ debut full-length, New Breed.
From Jacksonville, Florida, Vices take swamp vibes and bluesy guitar solos and jam them into ferocious hardcore punk songs. As Decibel Magazine put it recently, “Vices play hardcore with a blues rock edge [that] will make you want to go smash liquor bottles down by the creek.” The young bucks are part of the newest generation of hardcore bands currently going hard on the DIY tip – a nationwide circuit that includes peers like Full of Hell and Old Wounds.
New Breed was produced by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip). The album follows a self-released 2012 EP, The Out Crowd Blues.
Vices are in the middle of a U.S. tour right now.
