Neon Warship sign to Small Stone Recordings

Neon Warship announce that they’ve joined the Small Stone Recordings roster of artists.  The label, based in Detroit, Michigan, is the label home of a devastating array of heavy music’s premiere, powerhouse bands, including Gozu, Freedom Hawk, Luder, Lo-Pan and more. Emerging in 2011, the classic metal -inspired trio nods to metal forefathers like Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, St. Vitus, Clutch and newer heavy rockers like Queens of the Stone Age.
Metal music media have welcomed and embraced the band, filling the internet with glowing reviews of their demo, which was recorded with local engineer/producer Brian Whitten and released in late 2011.  Lambgoat, The PRP, Ghettoblaster Magazine, Heavy Planet, Gunshy Assassin, Nefarious Realm and more were quick to acknowledge the undeniable power of “the ship”!  The demo is currently available as a pay-what-you-want download at http://www.neonwarship.bandcamp.com.
In 2012 and 2013 the band focused on bringing their colossal sound to new fans around the region.  Their travels included opportunities to share the stage with Southern Lord’s Enabler (during a leg of Enabler’s headlining run), Truckfighters, Vulture, Super Void, Borracho, Valley of the Sun, Before the Eyewall, Lo-Pan, and performances at Dudefest and Independents Day in Columbus, Ohio and HoliDayton, in their hometown.
According to the band, they are making plans to record and release their debut full-length in 2014.  More information will be released as it becomes available.
