Today marks the first date of the Knife Knights schedule. Supporting the artist is Lando Chill, along with producer The Lasso. Late last year Knife Knights, the alter ego of both Ishmael Butler & Erik Blood of Shabazz Palaces, released the album 1 Time Mirage (Sub Pop). The album was an exercise in psychedelic sound collision with some of their best ideas culled from experimentation.

Lando Chill also dropped his Black Ego (Mello Music Group) last year. Production was lent by The Lasso but Chill shined on this release. Here he
stepped further off the ledge both musically and lyrically, finding himself within the heady space of a poet who’s come to terms with existentialism and reality.
