J Mascis’ Tied to a Star is now available worldwide on CD / LP / DL from Sub Pop. In celebration of its release, you can now watch the official video for “Every Morning” at Funny or Die. The hilarious new visual, directed by Danny Jelinek, stars J alongside Fred Armisen and tells the tale of a religious cult called “The Space Children Of The Forest” and their mysterious disappearance (see video premiere August 27th).
J Mascis’ previously announced North American and European tour schedule in support of Tied to a Star begins September 24 in Hamden, CT at The Ballroom at Outer Space and currently ends with a two-night stand November 21 and 22 in Denver, CO at Larimer Lounge. J will then head to Europe beginning December 2 with a show in Zurich, CH at Bogen F and that currently ends on December 20 in Helsinki, FI at Nostrui.
