Bob Mould launches Kickstarter for concert film

Last year, Bob Mould celebrated his career at a Hollywood tribute concert that found an all-star cast of musicians, including Ryan Adams, Dave Grohl and Spoon’s Britt Daniel, helping tackle tracks from Hüsker Dü, Sugar and Mould’s solo work. The singer-songwriter is now hoping to give anyone that missed out on the event the chance to see those goings-on with a concert film.
Mould launched a Kickstarter campaign earlier this week with the intention of rolling out See a Little Light: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Bob Mould as soon as December.
Incentives for pledgers include exclusive live MP3s of Mould playing some Sugar tunes in San Francisco earlier this year, a digital download of the movie to arrive in December, a physical DVD that should arrive by the end of January, an exclusive 7-inch featuring a few songs from See a Little Light, and more. You can check the details on the prizes and the pay scale over here.
The campaign ends December 22.
