Described as “slow, hypnotic folk and/or loud, trance-inducing art-rock” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Annie Girl and the Flight’s intense, almost psychedelic live performances have been making a mark on the San Francisco rock scene, where they were one of the Bay Guardian’s Artists on the Rise in 2014. After releasing their self-titled debut, which was MOJO Magazine’s album of the month, the band toured across the United States and Annie Girl gave two solo performances at the 12 Bar in London. Their new EP Bodies, the follow up to their May 2014 EP Pilot Electric, is a louder, faster nod to their punk roots. The band will be promoting the new EP on a North American tour supporting Against Me! in summer 2015.
