On Wednesday, 10/31, Agent Ribbons was leaving Memphis to play a Halloween show in Dallas when a Volvo ran a red light and collided with the band vehicle. Natalie, Lauren, and their tour manager escaped with non-life threatening injuries, but their vehicle was totaled. Drummer Lauren Ribbons broke her wrist and is currently awaiting a consultation from a surgeon due to the severity of the injury….Suffice it to say, the remaining tour dates have been canceled and the band is simply looking to get home as soon as possible.
 
Statement from Agent Ribbons:
 
“Hey everyone, we got in a gnarly car wreck today in Memphis. Everyone is okay, but Lauren broke her arm and is having it analyzed at the hospital. The car is very seriously damaged and we have to cancel the rest of the tour. Our apologies to Dallas, Denton, Abilene, and our two upcoming Austin shows.
 
The majority of our shows in the last week and a half have not paid us and now we have no way to earn gas money for the drive home. If you’d like to throw a couple bucks our way, our paypal is agentribbons@gmail.com. Any help is deeply appreciated, and we’re very sad to cancel so many shows.
