dannyseim1Danny Seim has dedicated himself to a life of music. A resident of Portland, Oregon, he has contributed an array of experimental sounds to the music scene since 1997. Not only is he a member of the band Menomena, he has a solo act, Lackthereof. His most recent Lackthereof release, Your Anchor, was recorded and mixed in his basement. What is your favorite record store and what was your best find there?
I found a limited edition, hand-printed/assembled LP version of I am the Fun Blame Monster at Ozone Records (R.I.P.) in 2004. Now it’s worth millions. Ozone was the first record store in Portland that let us consign CD’s with them, and then they shut down. Hopefully the two events are unrelated.
