Indie stalwart Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks’ new album Sparkle Hard will be released on May 18th on Matador Records. The band plans to tour North America this summer, hitting major cities including Chicago, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Nashville, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland, and the full list of tour dates can be found below. The band shares the new song “Shiggy” and delivers everything you’d expect: full-frontal rhythms, wall of guitars, and Malkmus’ laid back drawl.
