Stress Palace is a noise rock quintet from Dallas, Texas. The band’s new single, “Church,” follows up the band’s self-titled debut LP released in early March 2023 on The Ghost is Clear Records. Equal parts noise rock, hardcore, and post-punk, Stress Palace is still audibly frustrated, but ready to talk it through…as loudly as possible.
“Church”‘ offers a lumbering, atmospheric revenge piece, a fantasy addendum to the Joseph Maskell story. It was recorded in October of 2023 by J Michael Smith at Sunland Sound and mastered by Sterling Cash of Partaker and The Angelus. If “Church” is any indication of the next full release by Stress Palace, we are all in for a very intense ride.
