Song Premiere: Singing Lungs, "Kids I Used To Know"

Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Singing Lungs, a trio that features Ben Graham, the drummer from Cheap Girls, is set to release their Mutter EP via Count Your Luck Stars Records this fall.

Ghettoblaster has the pleasure of premiering “Kids I Used To Know,” which we think will appeal to fans of Lagwagon, Gin Blossoms and Lemonheads alike. Vocalist Jason Kotarski had this to say about it:

“[The song] is about looking back at those significant relationships that shape our lives with curiosity about how those connections move us forward. In reality, that’s the theme of the entire EP. The songs all nostalgically explore significant people and events as a way of taking stock of how we end up where we end up.”
