Song Premiere: Quietwater Shares New Track "Tango Murder"

West coast denizens Michelle Elliott Rearick and Colin Ingram are a pair of musicians that march to the beat of their own drums, and strings. Rearick is a cellist that has had the good fortune to add Nas, Adele and Erykah Badu to her resume while drummer Colin Ingram has been known to drop his beats for The Living Legends. The merging of musical minds comes to fruition on 11/16/18 when Quietwater releases its debut E.P., filled with Ingram’s breakbeats juxtaposed alongside Rearick’s melancholic cello melodies. As we wait for the record, the duo shares the new and dramatic “Tango Murder.”
Of the song, the duo states, “This song came together rather quickly when throwing a few ideas around. As the song developed, we quickly began to visualize an old-timey ballroom with people tango dancing. During this evening a murder happens and a murder mystery is unfolding while some are unaware and steady dancing the night away.”
