NoNight Share Single “Take What You Want”

Brooklyn, New York band NoNight shares a new single from their forthcoming album NN3. The synth-pop-based group features members of Mercury Rev, The Silent League, Sleep Maps, and Pearl and The Beard. Hear/share “Take What You Want” on all DSPs HERE.

About the single, NoNight explains:

“Justin and I wrote this one together and based it all on that pulsing beat. We wanted something with a banging drum part and a simple melody. The song has a dark edge, the lyrics are about the grab-all-you-can society that we have decided is best for everyone. People don’t have a say in what they do anymore. We are all just controlled by a corpocracy that tells us we can have anything when in reality most people have nothing.”

NoNight was founded in Brooklyn in 2013. A loose collective of artists held together by founding members Justin Russo (The Silent League, Mercury Rev) and Ben Kaplan (Sleep Maps, founder Lost Future Records), they have recorded two previous records focused on ’80s synth pop with cinematic flourishes. For their new record the band is joined by singers Jeremy Lloyd-Styles (Pearl and the Beard) and Tess Posner.

NN3 (Lost Future Records) will be available digitally on January 31, 2025. Pre-order HERE
