King Ropes, that group hailing out of Bozeman, Montana, slips out of the wintery drear releasing its new single “Greedy.” Filled with slacker-esque vibes and drawn-out lyricism, Dave Hollier and the boys ride the current of the song’s rhythm. It isn’t handled lazily but allows the song to form a life of its own. The winding, deserty Americana is still present in the band’s sound, while it takes a slightly different approach here. “Greedy” is taken off the forthcoming Super Natural, set for release on May 26, 2022. Super Natural follows last year’s brilliant Way Out West.
