J. Robbins Surprises With New Single “Automaticity”

Just last week, producer/engineer/musician J. Robbins (Channels/Jawbox) re-released his Covers E.P. in support of Texas relief efforts and leads us to just one week later with a surprise release. Today he shares his new single, “Automaticity,” which is accompanied by “Dead-Eyed God.”

The single is the first release for 2021, which follows a couple of songs released in 2020 which include the electronic-induced “Dear Leader” as well as “The World Is A Very Scary Place,” originally written and recorded by the Gothic Archies. Robbins has teased with material since the release of 2019’s stunning solo debut Un-Becoming (Dischord), but there’s no word yet regarding a follow-up release.
