J. Robbins Shares New Single "Winter Sun"

Earlier this year J. Robbins (Jawbox, Burning Airlines) released his first solo album Un-becoming (Dischord). While the album sticks to a formula Robbins has been known for – creating post-punk anthems utilizing walls of guitar and crisp/clean melodies – his songs never repeat themselves, as he finds new ways to deliver sonic blasts from his guitars and allows melodies to find their own way through songs.

Today Robbins shares a new two-song digital single on Monday morning, including one original, “Winter Sun,” and a cover of John Cale’s “Magic & Lies.”  The songs are beyond stunning. He heads out on tour next month, performing his first solo band dates since releasing his album. Dates are listed below.

12.5.19 – Philadelphia, PA @ The Boot & Saddle
12.6.19 – Brooklyn, NY @ Saint Vitus
12.7.19 – Allston, MA @ Great Scott
12.12.19 – Grand Rapids, MI @ Pyramid Scheme
12.13.19 – Chicago, IL @ Sleeping Village
12.14.19 – Columbus, OH @ Rumba Cafe
