Who doesn’t enjoy something that’s free, especially when it’s something of such quality as Ghostface Killah & Apollo Brown’s “The Rise Of The Ghostface Killah”? The track is being shared in anticipation of their collaborative re-release of The Brown Tape, which was the alternate version of Ghostface Killah’s new album 12 Reasons To Die, produced by Apollo Brown, originally released on cassette only.
The single,  which features RZA, is a dusty gem on the project. Narrated by The RZA, the song traced the origins of one of hip-hop’s most elite MCs. Apollo’s production is percussive and concussive, beautifully crafted behind the legend himself, Ghostface Killah. Apollo’s vision for a vintage, minimal interpretation has been actualized to perfection on the eleven track album.
