Drive-By Truckers Share “Quarantine Together”

Drive-By Truckers have released “Quarantine Together,” a new song conceived and recorded during the current period of social isolation. The song is available to stream or purchase now via Bandcamp in honor of the platform once again waiving its fees so that 100% of proceeds are given to artists. The band has also shared a video featuring each member performing the song in their own homes.

“Through the miracles of science and technology, DBT has recorded a brand new single,” the band’s Patterson Hood explains. “I wrote ‘Quarantine Together’ during our first week in isolation and sent my basic track (recorded in my Heathen Attic) to the gang. Everyone then put their own parts on it and David Barbe mixed it.”

Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley have also announced their first-ever live-streamed shows via noonchorus.com, which will take place on Wednesday, May 6 at 6pm PT / 9pm ET and Friday, May 8 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET, respectively.
