Columbus' PromoWest Fest announces lineup (2016)

Walk the Moon, Modest Mouse, Snoop Dogg and Brand New are set to headline PromoWest Fest, a new music festival set to take place in Columbus July 15-17.
The festival, which is scheduled to take place on three stages set up throughout McFerson Commons and North Bank Park, is the latest concert venture for the Columbus-based promoter PromoWest Productions, which purchased the Bunbury and Buckle Up music festivals in 2014.
PromoWest Fest shares a number of artists in common with Bunbury, which takes place in Cincinnati June 3-5, including: Tears for Fears, X Ambassadors, The Dear Hunter, The Wombats, Red Wanting Blue, J. Roddy Walston & the Business and Austin Plaine.
The bill for the inaugural PromoWest Fest is rounded out by Ryan Adams, LL Cool J, Mac Miller, The Decemberists, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Fitz & the Tantrums, Milky Chance, All Time Low, Garbage, Lindsey Stirling, Moon Taxi, Atlas Genius, Black Lips, AlunaGeorge, Columbus native RJD2, Black Pistol Fire, Grizfolk, Holy White Hounds, The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Banners, Mimicking Birds, Pup, Coast Modern, Finish Ticket, Copywrite, Nick D’ & the Believers, Forest & the Evergreens, Lonesome as Gold, Way Yes and the Worn Flints.
Three-day General Admission tickets for the festival begin at $169 (a three-day VIP package runs $389), and single-day tickets are priced at $79. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16. Visit promowestfest.com for more information.
