Brooklyn’s Bethlehem Steel is slightly over a week away with the release of their self-titled sophomore LP on Exploding In Sound.  The band has shared the album’s third single “Govt. Cheese” along with an accompanying video.  Shot by Jeanette D. Moses, and directed and choreographed by front-woman Becca Ryskalczyk, the video features choreography and several costume changes, while foregrounding Ryskalczyk’s good-natured chemistry with the band’s newest member, guitarist Christina Puerto, who co-stars in the video.

Here’s what Ryskalczyk said in a recent interview regarding the video: “I really wanted to choreograph a dance for Christina and I so I did. I wanted to show how sometimes certain male relationships held me back. In letting some of that go I could grow as a person and find more strength in myself. The dual dancers shows the importance of healthy friendships and a solid support system if you’re lucky enough to find that.”

In support of the release, the band is announcing an extensive US tour that includes dates with their Exploding In Sound labelmates Kal Marks. Full details can be found below.
