Slum Village's Young RJ Releases His Debut Solo Album Blaq Royalty

Detroit rapper Young RJ has been comfortable sitting behind the scenes for some time, but now? He’s ready to step into the spotlight. With a history as a producer & member of Slum Village, today, RJ officially released his debut solo album Blaq RoyaltyThe album features Boldy James, Pete Rock, and Joyner Lucas to name a few. It presents a classic “Slum” hip-hop approach, but still sounds fresh with joints like “Issues” (which features BJ the Chicago Kid), “Wait” (featuring Pete Rock & Boldy James) and “Motion” (featuring Joyner Lucas & Statik Selektah.)
According to Young RJ himself, “It is written ‘Change is the Only True Constant’ …my debut album, Blaq Royalty, reflects change and growth for me musically.”
