Adia Victoria covers vintage blues tracks for EP

Today sees Adia Victoria release a new EP, Baby Blues which consists of three vintage blues tracks, each marked with Adia’s unique interpretation.  Adia notes, “When I first rolled into Nashville, I didn’t have my own music. All I had were the blues. To keep me company on endless bus rides ’round the city, these songs served as an affirmation of my silenced inner life. The blues keep me true to myself.”  She is dedicating the project to the memory of Those Darlins’ Jessi Zazu who passed away in September.
Baby Blues tracklisting:

  1. Me And The Devil (Robert Johnson)
  2. Evil Hearted Me (Victoria Spivey)
  3. Ugly Brown (Lee Hazelwood)
