“For the past year, my life has been in a complete flux,” says Jenny Andreotti, one-half of the California-based pop duo Fawns of Love. “People have moved away, relationships have changed, and this has challenged my belief that people’s love for you is permanent.”
Along with her husband Joseph Andreotti, it seems that was the driving force behind the new album Permanent, a crisp and clear dreamy vision, held together by electro-pop thematics, wondrous melodies, and a realized vision. There’s an array of sounds the duo brings to life here and much if it is tied into its influential 80s sensibilities and zero redundancy.
Today the band premieres the melancholic “Someday,” a beautifully entrancing number with a hypnotic drum pattern, cooing vocals, and notes & melodies that will no doubt, force you to hit the repeat button again and again.
