Indie rockers The Kickback are offering up another mini epic, premiering the official video for “Scorched Earth Brouhaha.”
Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, Sorry All Over the Place, which was produced by Spoon’s Jim Eno, the band will hit the road for another leg of its national tour, joining Quiet Company on a run of winter dates, returning to Austin for SXSW and making their first trip to Toronto for CMW.
As part two of what will become a four-part series, “Scorched Earth Brouhaha” plays with a Quentin Tarantino chronology and allows viewers to follow the band’s hi-jinks across its home base of Chicago. Directed by Mark Bachara, the video features a few recurring ski-masked burglars and a snippet of a raucous Kickback live show.
