The dudes in Pretty & Nice recently announced an indefinite hiatus following the release of Infinitely Forever and their shows 8/14 at Glasslands in Brooklyn, NY and 8/16 at Great Scott in Allston, MA. If you know anything about this band, or have ever heard or seen them, you know what a monumental bummer this is.
Dayton’s halicon (aka. Tim Krug of Oh Condor, Swim Diver, hexidiode and more) recently remixed “Money Music” from the record, which dropped this week. Playing with synths and computers and making songs out of any old weird equipment he could find at thrift and pawn shops, the experience is bittersweet for Krug whose bands have shared the stage with P&N on many occasions.
