Zzzahara shares the new single, “Speedracer,” and the video from its forthcoming album, Distant Lands (Lex Records), out June 5, 2026. Following last month’s woozy, shoegaze-tinged, “Chinese Tobacco” “Speedracer” is about finding the positives in the ebbs and flows of life and reflecting on the past.

“‘Speedracer’ is an homage to music I’ve made in the past,” zzzahara explains. “I sparkled a fun lead riff on it and free-styled the lyrics. It’s about trusting your journey even at times when life’s moving fast. I thought about all the times I had my head out the window and felt a rush. No matter the countless ups and downs…there’s always something charming along the way.”
