R.A.P. Ferreira announces the new full-length album the Light-Emitting Diamond Cutter Scriptures. Following Ferreira’s ode to Bob Kaufman on the Bob’s Son LP (January 2021), the Light-Emitting Diamond Cutter Scriptures (Ruby Yacht) drops November 26th. In conjunction with the new record release, R.A.P. Ferreira will celebrate with a performance at the Echoplex LA on November 26th. Opening sets will include performances from various members of the Ruby Yacht crew.

Recordings for the Light-Emitting Diamond Cutter Scriptures initiated in March of 2020 and were quickly finished a month later at Ferreira’s studio in Nashville. The sole feature is from London MC and lyricist ELDON, one of the newest members of Ruby Yacht. Production credits were sourced from Tel Aviv-based argov, fellow Nashville resident  Brainweight, California native and Team Supreme co-founder Nalepa, Rochester, NY multi-instrumentalist Brendon Caroselli, Portland, Maine’s gibbsfreelance, and Ruby Yacht roster members ELDON, Pink Navel, and Vastness. The sonic range of the album travels, with Ferreira taking his technical and unique approach of lyricism to great heights in every setting. A limited-edition cassette pressing will be available with the worldwide DSP release of the Light-Emitting Diamond Cutter Scriptures.
