Brooklyn-based punk band QWAM are back with their most visceral, unflinching work to date. Their upcoming album, Girls Aren’t Afraid of Blood, out August 1, 2025, finds frontwoman Felicia Lobo confronting body dysmorphia, the brutal pace of NYC, and the looming fear of aging out of her dreams, through the lens of blood-soaked horror and gut-punch punk songs.

Today, QWAM shares the video for the new song, “About You” which Lobo says, “I’ve been with my partner for 9 years. When you’re with someone for that long, it’s impossible to always be your best self or expect them to always be theirs. But there is some sort of magic in being able to fold yourself into someone who really knows you, even in the moments of uncertainty.“
