Pixel Grip Shares “Reason To Stay”

Underground electronic trio Pixel Grip announces their eagerly awaited independent third album,  Percepticide: The Death of Reality, set for release on June 12th. Alongside the announcement, Pixel Grip shares a gripping new single and visualizer, “Reason to Stay”. Serving as the fourth release and focus track from the album, it’s a raw, abrasive offering, pulsing with distortion and resilience, anchored by a pounding bassline where vocalist Rita Lukea leans fully into the chaos–confronting betrayal head-on.

Speaking on “Reason to Stay”, Rita Lukea shares, “The focus track of the album embodies aggression. With a pounding, abrasive bassline and a chorus that’s shouted at you: “What’s the point of giving less than 100%? You pushed me to the limit what the fuck you expect?”  Rita introduces the idea that resilience can be ugly and wrathful, and when faced with the option to leave, she chooses to stay –  “Just to hear you scream”.

Coinciding with the news, Pixel Grip has announced they will embark on their North American headline tour this Fall, which will kick off in St. Louis on September 23rd. The 26-date Percepticide tour will see Pixel Grip trek across the US and Canada before it wraps with a hometown show at Metro in Chicago on  November 14th (full dates below). Artist pre-sale begins on Wednesday, venue pre-sale begins on Thursday, and general ticket sales begin this Friday, May 9th at 12PM local time.
