Lizzo Shares Title Track ‘Bitch’ Off New Album

Singer, songwriter, rapper, instrumentalist, and actress Lizzo has released the title track off of her upcoming album Bitch. Earlier this week, she announced that her third studio album is due out June 5th. Accompanying the track is a new video directed by child featuring Lizzo and her entourage as circus performers.

The track was produced by frequent collaborators Ricky Reed, Blake Slatkin & Zack Sekoff and interpolates Meredith Brooks’ smash hit of the same name. Lizzo, who first coined the phrase ‘I’m 100% that bitch’ on her Diamond-selling single “Truth Hurts” will continue to shape pop culture with her new forthcoming album, announced earlier this week.

Just last month, Lizzo released “Don’t Make Me Love U”, another standout track from the forthcoming album. The song was met with immense praise from critics and fans alike, kicking off Lizzo’s new musical era with a striking video depicting Lizzo grappling with her past self, reflecting and eventually evolving through learning and growth.

This much-anticipated release comes on the heels of a fully sold-out run of shows at Blue Note Jazz Club’s Los Angeles & New York locations, totalling a run of 12 performances. She most recently gave an electrifying performance to a sold-out Houston Rodeo with over 70,000 fans earlier this month.
