Ezra Furman Shares Panicked Rocker “Jump Out”

Renowned multi-disciplinary artist Ezra Furman has released the new “Jump Out” official video, the latest cut off her 10th studio album Goodbye Small Head (Bella Union) due out May 16, 2025 and is available to pre-order here. It is a panicked rocker for realizing you are going to have to take matters into your own hands, metaphorically leaping from a moving vehicle because the driver has no intention of letting you out. Written during a maelstrom of overwhelm, the album title is a nuanced homage to the 1999 Sleater-Kinney single “Get Up”. Many songs on the new album are steeped in the helpless transcendence of being suddenly overcome, and undone. “Jump Out” is a blistering ripper that will hit you where it hurts.
