The Death Valley Girls return with the video to its latest single “Hold My Hand.” The song comes off their upcoming album, Under The Spell of Joy (Suicide Squeeze), that’s out October 2nd. The video is a pandemic-proof curated film project by Andi Avery and Kate E. Hinshaw of Analog Cookbook. Through the project, 61 artists of all ages and backgrounds across North America interpreted lyrics through painting and animating strips of 16mm film.
The new album follows up 2018’s stunning Darkness Rains and with a slight shift in sound, the band’s new release will no doubt follow suit.
