Video Premiere: YouVees, "Dear Howard"

YouVees are a three-piece bedroom pop/boozewave outfit currently touring the United States.
They are originally from Dayton Ohio, with a brief stint in Columbus. Brendon Broome had been  writing material (which became the Monachopsis mini LP) in hopes of fronting a new group. He began teaching those songs, and writing new ones with his brother Jacob Broome. Drummer Justin Barlow was traveling the country and upon return decided to join the group.
Things immediately kicked into gear they recorded three songs with Chris Lute of Columbus band DANA to wrap the album Brendon had started. Within three months time they developed a live set, converted a 97 dodge van into a tiny home-esque livable touring vehicle, booked a tour, drained the nest egg and hit the road. After a series of blows in the way of homelessness and the death of friends and family, the YouVees decided to make touring a way of life until it’s time to write the next record.
Today the band premieres their video for “Dear Howard,” which was produced by Jennifer Taylor and Josh Gwin. Enjoy:
